PURPOSE:To improve the degree of freedom of switching control of recording density without reduction of throughput by selecting the recording density in response to a recording density switching instruction only when a gate signal permitting picture write is cleared. CONSTITUTION:Only when a gate signal permitting picture write to a picture write request instruction is cleared, an execution command means E allows a recording density changeover means A to execute the changeover of the recording density in response to the recording density changeover instruction. Thus, even when paper feeding is started, till the picture write is started, the recording density is able to be changed. Thus, the degree of freedom of switching control of recording density is improved without reduction of throughput. |
