PURPOSE:To provide excellent affinity with living body and excellent bone forming ability within a short period, and prevent the external breakage by containing, as an essential component, a mixture in which a minute granule consisting of hydroxy apatite mixed with a porous granule in a specified ratio in a filler is contained. CONSTITUTION:The mixing ratio of a minute granule consisting of hydroxy apatite and a porous granule contained as essential components is required within the range of (50:50) to (99:1) by volume. When the minute granule is less than 50% by volume, the strength as a desired filler is not obtained, and when the minute granule exceeds 99% by volume, bone forming ability in the early stage is reduced. The minute granule consisting of hydroxy apatite is a component enhancing the strength of the filler and having excellent affinity with living body, and the porous granule is a component easy for an osteoblast having an important role for the induction of a new bone to adhere there to, compared with the minute granule, because of its high specific surface area, and easy for a body fluid to penetrate there into because of its continuous pores, and accelerating the born forming ability within a short time. |
