发明名称 COATING BUNDLE OF NUCLEAR FUEL AND MAKING METHOD OF HARDENING SURFACE THEREOF
摘要 The method for hardening the surface of coated nuclear tube comprises (A) holding several nuclear fuel rods (1,1') onto a rotating clampping device (2), while the edge ends (3,3') are put in a chamber (4) under vacuum, and (B) implanting ultra-high speedily ion beams of plasma state metal or nonmetal elements by a particle accelerator (5), while rotating the nuclear fuel rods to form metallic structured surfaces on the surfaces of nuclear fuel tubes. Metal element for use in ion implantion is titanium, chrome, aluminium or beryllium, and non-metal element is nitrogen or carbon. This new method can prevent the attrition of nuclear fuel tube and enhance the safety of nuclear reactor.
