PURPOSE:To avoid electrification of an optical recording medium so as to reduce deposition of dust in air and to improve reliability of the medium by providing a transparent conductive film on the one surface of the medium and connecting the conductive film to the grounding circuit of a recording/ reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:The transparent conductive film 20 is formed on the back sur face of the substrate 12 of the magneto-optical disk 10, where laser light enters, opposite to the side where a recording layer 14 is provided. The film 20 consists of SnO2, InO2, RuO2, VO2, etc. When the disk 10 is set in the recording/ reproducing device, the film 20 is connected to the grounding circuit of the device. Thereby, electrification of th disk 10 is prevented, which reduced deposi tion of dust in air due to electrification, and improve reliability of the disk 10. |
