PURPOSE:To form a picture directly on a copying material which does not use a specific sensitive material by forming a latent image having different electrical conductivity on a cellulose copying material by the means of electromagnetic wave irradiation or heating, and developing the same with electrically conductive magnetic development grains. CONSTITUTION:After supplying water to a normal cellulose copying material 1 such as cellophane paper through a feeding roller 2 or the like, an original 4 is overlapped on it and exposed by a light source 5. The electromagnetic wave from the light source 5 is absorbed into the picture part of the original 4 and converted into heat energy. Thus, the water of the copying material 1 is reduced selectively and the latent image that the conductivity changes in a picturelike state is formed on the copying material. When the voltage from a power source 9 is applied between a conductive roller 6 incorporating a magnet and a counter electrode 8, the latent image is developed by the magnetic development grains on the surface of the roller 6. Thus, pictures are directly formed on the copying materials without specific sensitive materials simply and precisely. The same result is obtained by the formation of the latent image through heating. |
