A roaming call supporting system through the automatic call forwarding and a method therefor are provided to convert a called phone number which dose not include a country code and network code into a telephone number of the international mobile station identification numbering system. A roaming station mobile communication network can confirm the parent station mobile communication network of the originating terminal through the country code and the network code included in the telephone number(S200). If the sending request message is received from the originating terminal(S210), the roaming station switch confirms whether it is the international call request signal requesting the call to the called terminal in which the sending request message which is received is positioned in the host exchange(S220). If it is confirmed that the international call identifier is included in the received sending request message(S230), the roaming station switch confirms the country code and network code of the caller identifier temporarily stored in the roaming station HLR or the roaming station VLR(S240).
