PURPOSE:To easily obtain a catalyst which is available for safely synthesizing a hydroxyaromatic compd. from a halogenoaromatic compd. at high selectivity at high yield without causing such trouble as a specified element is admixed by heat-treating the mixture of crystalline amino-silicate and metallic salt in the presence of steam. CONSTITUTION:Crystalline aluminosilicate contg. a metallic cation especially a polyvalent caticn is obtained by heat-treating the mixture of crystalline aluminosilicate and metallic salt in the presence of steam. As crystalline aluminosilicate, known every crystalline aminosilicats can be applied but high- silica crystalline aminosilicate is preferably utilized. As metallic salt, the metals of group I to group VIII are utilized. For example, as a metallic cation, Na, Mg, Al and Pt, etc., are utilized. As an anion, sulfate group, etc., especially halogen group is preferably utilized. |
