PURPOSE:To increase the locating torque and output torque of the second hand by turning a step motor of an electronic timepiece at more than 2 steps per second. CONSTITUTION:Driving pulses of 6 pulses/sec are inputted to a step motor driving the second hand, so that a step motor 1 is turned 6 steps per second. The driving period of the step motor of this time is set at 1/64sec. Hence, the second hand turns at 6 steps in the scales of one second in 6/64sec and pauses for the remaining 58/64sec. |
