A projector and a conduct control method therefore are provided to protect a human body from the laser light by stopping output of the laser light when detecting that the human body is in projection direction. A projector(200) comprises an optical source section(210) radiating the laser light; an image projection part irradiating the laser light coming out from the optical source section to project a picture; a sensor(240) sensing whether an object is in the in the projection direction of the laser light or not; and a controller(260) controlling the drive of the optical source section according to a sensing result of the sensor. |
