FIELD: entertainment. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction sets. The connection unit is comprised of connection items and connection element. The connection elements are made hollow and volumetric with the identical round and open-end tubular recesses being satiated by their longitudinal axes in the centers of mating parts and perpendicular to the mating plates. There is an annular groove with the cross section being ¼ of circle in each surface of the connected items from the mating plane side and around tubular recess basis in coaxial alignment to the above recess. The connecting element is implemented as an elongated solid dowel having cross-cut annular projection in the middle. The dowel's cross section is in the form of half of a circle. The dowel's form of section and longitudinal size correspond to the section form and double depth of the hollow part in the tubular recess. The geometric sizes of the cross-cut annular dowel projection are in agreement with the geometrical sizes of hollow formed by two annular recesses being in co-axial mating. The biggest cross-cut size of the dowel ddow is within 0.95 dr<=ddow<1.05 dr, where dr - the largest cross-section size on the hollow part of the tubular recess. ^ EFFECT: invention provides for widening choice of meccano sets. ^ 10 cl, 30 dwg |
