PURPOSE:To allow quick machining on the site corresponding to the various dimensions of outside diameters of cables so as to reduce the kinds of casting materials by forming the material of a cable head, which has a bell mouth part and a tapered tubular part, by casting, and then applying machine processing to the inside periphery of said tapered tubular part so as to make the hole with a medium diameter. CONSTITUTION:The tubular part 15b of the casting material of a cable head 15 is in the shape of a taper with a large diameter d2 and a small diameter d1. The inside periphery of a bell mouth part 15a protects the bend of a cable with the casting surface intact, and the bell mouth part 15a with the casting surface intact and the tapered tubular part 15b with the casing surface intact continue smoothly. Even if the machine processing to make the cylindrical hole with a diameter d between said large diameter d2 and small diameter d1 is applied to it, the junction between the cylindrically machined part 19b and the left tapered tubular part 15b with the casting surface intact is at an obtuse angle approximate to 180 deg. in accord with the angle of the taper, and the action of protecting the bend of the cable does not change. |
