The stereoscopic video representation system uses a pair of video monitors (2,3) supported by a carrier frame (1) perpendicular to one another. The monitors have associated perpendicular polarisation filters and are viewed via a transmissive mirror positioned at 45 deg. between them. The carrier frame has a control device (15) for adjusting the vertical and horizontal position of at least one monitor, with a common adaptor (9,10) for coupling the monitors to a stereo endoscope.
