PURPOSE:To embody the whole pulse transformer in small size and at a low cost by furnishing a pulse generator which generates pulse voltage having a relatively large width, and driving the starter with this pulse voltage. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator 16 is equipped with a triac, resistances 18, 19, capacitor 20 and thydac 21 for triggering, and generates a pulse voltage having a relatively large width through utilization of the charging voltage for the capacitor 20 which resonates with a choke coil 3. Switching elements 12-14 of a starter part 4 are driven by this pulse voltage, and a pulse voltage is generated on the secondary winding N2 side of a pulse transformer 5. This allows increasing the voltage on the primary winding N1 side of the pulse transformer 5, so that it becomes practicable to decrease the turns of the pulse transformer secondary winding N2 and embody the whole transformer 5 in small size and at a low cost. |
