<p>The rail-road transport system comprises a series of rail bogies, between which are arranged road trailers (2) or containers. Each bogie possesses, at each of its ends, bearing surfaces (3) which respectively receive the two end corners (2a) of a trailer (2) or of a container. The bearing surfaces (3) comprise, furthermore, projecting studs (12) which can engage into complementary orifices (13) made at the ends (2a) of the trailers (2) or containers, the projecting part (14) of said studs (12) narrowing upwards.
