PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent heat stability and heat-resistance by compounding a specific amount of a copolymer composed of a vinyl cyanide compound, etc., to a composition composed of a styrene resin having low molecular weight and a vinyl chloride resin having low polymerization degree. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a flame-retardant resin composition composed of (A1) 30-80wt.% of a styrene resin having a reduced viscosity of the methyl ethyl ketone-soluble component of 0.2-0.5dl/g and (A2) 70-20wt.% of a vinyl chloride resin having a polymerization degree of 400-800 with (B) 0.5-15 pts.wt. (preferably 1-10 pts.wt.) of a copolymer having a reduced viscosity of >=1.8dl/g and produced by copolymerizing (B1) a vinyl cyanide compound, (B2) an alkyl methacrylate, (B3) an aromatic vinyl compound and (B4) other vinyl compound copolymerizable with the above monomers at weight ratios of 15<=B1+B2/4<=40, B4=100-B1-B2-B3, B1>=0, B2>=0, 0<=B3<=85 and 0<=B4<=20. |
