PURPOSE:To produce imitation sounds and sound effects also by providing a storage device which outputs a selection controlling signal from storing data to a signal selector and note generator which inputs the output of the signal selector and generates notes required for generating melodies. CONSTITUTION:A selection controlling signal 8 is produced from the data stored in a storage device 11 which is connected with a data bus 9 and address bus 10 constituting a microcomputer and can make writing and readout following the instruction of the microcomputer and inputted to a signal selector 4 so that a necessary signal can be selected. At the time of producing imitation sounds and sound effects, the selected output 5 of the selector 4 writes data in the storage device 11 so that the data can become higher in frequency than melody playing time. Therefore, imitation sounds and sound effects can also be produced. |
