A dynamic uniformity correcting apparatus for color uniformity compensation for a cathode ray tube wherein each incremental area of the face of the cathode ray tube is examined with a photo-sensor and a correcting signal is produced and is supplied to an amplitude modulator to control the amplitude of at least two primary color signals and, thus, to correct the color produced on the picture screen and the correction value is memorized for each field for each incremental area and stored in a field memory so as to correct the white color signal.
