PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive fatigue in one segment part by alternately using the plural segments on a photosensitive belt in the case of performing one sheet copying of high frequencies. CONSTITUTION:If a print button is pushed at the time of copying just one sheet, a photosensitive belt which has been kept still turns by 1/2LB (peripheral length of the belt) in an arrow direction. Then, an area A1 comes to the position in the lower part and an area A2 in the upper part. A scanner 11 moves forward to the right and electrostatic latent images are formed in the area A2. Around the time when the scanner 11 moves to the end position of the forward movement, a belt 12 begins to move, and at this time, the latent images are developed by a developing device 21. The belt turns continuously, and the visible images are transferred onto a copying sheet. While the belt is cleaned, it stops in the position of Figure (f). As the print button is pushed, the belt turns by 1/2LB and once stops in the position of Figure (a), and this time, the electrostatic latent images are formed in the area A1. |
