<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a heater from being operated idly and prevent hydrogen from being produced by initiating the power supply to the heater only when an output of a total accumulated water amount part for adding a signal of a first flow rate detector part provided at a water supply port and subtracting a signal of a second flow rate detector part provided at a water discharge port exceeds a predetermined water amount. CONSTITUTION:A first flow rate detector part 7 detects a flow rate of water flowing into a tank 1, and a second flow rate of water flowing out from the tank 1. A total accumulated water amount part 12 is provided which adds signals from the past flow rate detector port 7 and subtracts signals from the second flow rate detector part 8 and initiates power supply to heater 5 only when an output from the total accumulated water amount part exceeds a predetermined water amount. Accordingly, the heater 5 is prevented from being operated idly without causing hydrogen to be produced unlike prior hot water suppliers, for improvement of safety. Further, since flow rates are detected at the sides of water supply and water discharge, water amount in the tank 1 can be estimated even though water is supplied from an arbitrary level of the tank 1 and water leakage from the tank 1 can easily be detected.</p> |
