<p>The valve arrangement contains a disc-shaped valve element (61) which can be placed loosely against a valve seat (63), and a spring plate (62) which can be clamped loosely against the latter. On the side facing away from the valve seat (63), the valve element (61), which completely covers a passage opening (36) which is surrounded by the valve seat (63) and through which a fluid can flow, is provided with a central, local raised portion (64) which cooperates with a central supporting surface (66) of the spring plate (62). The valve element (61) and the spring plate (62) are arranged in freely movable fashion in a recess (38) through which the fluid can flow and which is formed in a guiding part surrounding the valve seat (63). This recess (38) is formed at a distance from the valve seat (63) which permits a raising of the valve element (61), with an inward-projecting shoulder (67) against which the edge part (71) of the spring plate (62) rests under prestress. This arrangement provides a valve of flat, compact design and with a minimum dead space. Valves of this kind are suitable as delivery valves and inlet valves, in particular for small, dry- running compressors or for pumps. <IMAGE></p> |
