This sensor unit (1) for sensing the angular position or the rotation speed of a rotatable element with respect to a fixed element, comprises several sensing elements (7) for sensing the angular position or the rotation speed of the rotatable element, an annular sensing element holder (11) on which the sensing elements (7) are mounted, an annular printed circuit board (5) for processing signals delivered by the sensing elements (7), on which the sensing element holder (11) is mounted and to which the sensing elements (7) are electrically connected. One element (11) amongst the printed circuit board (5) and the sensing element holder (11) comprises male mounting means (113) adapted to cooperate in a bayonet type mounting with female mounting means (53) provided on the other element (5) amongst the printed circuit board (5) and the sensing element holder (11), so that the printed circuit board (5) and the sensing element holder (11) are blocked with respect to each other in rotation and translation.
