<p>PURPOSE:To provide a container which has excellent resistance to moisture permeation, oxygen permeation and heat and mechanical properties and in which mica is not peeled off from its surface, obtained by molding a composite resin consisting of mica and a polyolefin resin contg. an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:Mica having an average particle size of 30-300mu is immersed in a soln. of an aminoalkylsilane compd. such as gamma-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane in water or in an org. solvent, and then dried to obtain a silane-treated mica. Then 60- 5wt% said silane-treated mica is blended with 40-95wt% polyolefin resin contg. 0.1-100wt% polyolefin resin modified by 0.001-15wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid such as maleic acid or derivative thereof. The resulting composite resin is molded by injection molding, blow molding or injection blow molding to obtain a container.</p> |
