HIGH-SPEED PICTURE GENERATING/DISPLAYING METHOD

PURPOSE:To generate and display the pictures of high quality at a high speed by setting a hierarchy degree with the distance between the origin or a visual point of a display reference coordinate system and an optional point of an object shown in an object coordinate system used as at least one parameter. CONSTITUTION:An object of display has a constant size. However the subject is displayed in a larger size as shown in an object coordinate system h-obj1 on a screen S1 when it is in a near place and displayed in a smaller size as shown in an object coordinate system h-obj3 when it is in a far place respectively. In this case, the modeling hierarchy is set fine in a near place and then set rough in a far place respectively. Therefore for an observer both of the systems h-obj1 and h-obj3 are felt satisfactorily precise. Furthermore the calculation speed of the perspective projection transformation of both systems obj2 and obj3 is much higher than the obj1. Then the calculation quantity needed for display of an entire screen S1 is reduced. Thus the pictures of high ambience can be obtained at a high speed.
