PURPOSE:To obtain this lens moving device which has superior assembly operability by providing opening parts which are provided between a lens frame and a driving shaft, an engagement member having an engagement part which is coupled with the lens frame and can contact and leave the flank of the screw part of the driving shaft through the opening parts, and a covering means which covers the opening parts and driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:The opening parts 27 and 28 are provided with the driving shaft 21 which is rotated by a driving motor 20 and the lens frame 13 which holds lenses 11 and 12 and moves in a fixed lens barrel 14 in the direction of the optical axis 17. Then a rack (moving piece) 18 which projects from the lens frame 13 is protruded from the opening parts 27 and 28 toward the driving shaft and engaged with the flank of the screw part of the driving shaft 21 so that it can contact and leave the flank, and the cover 29 which covers the opening parts 27 and 28 and driving shaft 21 is provided. Consequently, when a guiding plate 23 is assembled on the driving shaft 21, the moving piece 18 need not be engaged threadably with the driving shaft 21 previously and the assembly operability is therefore improved. |
