PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the whole operation by forming rolling sleeves in contact with the flange end parts of a material to be rolled of split rolling sleeves movably in the direction of a roll axis and providing a taper to these sleeves. CONSTITUTION:When the split sleeves 2b, 3b abutting on the flange end parts are moved in the direction of the roll axis, a material to be rolled different in the flange width can be drawn down from the flange end parts and rolled. When the split sleeves 3a, 3b abutting on web surface can be moved structurally in the direction of the roll axis, materials to be rolled different in the flange width and web height can be rolled by adjusting the sleeves to the inner width of the web to be moved with the split sleeves 2a, 2b abutting on the flange end parts. When shapes different in size are manufactured, edger rolls need not be recombined and the efficiency of the whole operation can be improved. |
