PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance dust collection ability of an air filter to prevent the dust and air from being contaminated into intake air for an engine, thereby improving durability of the engine.SOLUTION: An engine cutter 1 (portable work machine) includes: the engine 2 serving as a power source; and the air filter 18 for sending fresh air into the engine 2. The engine cutter is provided with a filter cover 19 for storing the air filter 18, where a first filter 18a on an upstream side and a second filter 18b on a downstream side are stacked inside the filter cover 19. The first filter 18a is a paper filter, while the second filter 18b is a non-woven fabric filter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
