ETHYLENE/PENTENE-1 COPOLYMER

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the subject copolymer satisfied with specific requirements and giving films having excellent impact resistance and tearability by copolymerizing ethylene with pentene-1. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene and pentene-1 are copolymerized with each other to obtain the objective copolymer satisfied with requirements comprising a melt flow rate of 0.01-100g/10min measured by ASTM D 1238E, a density of 0.87-0.96g/cm<2> measured by ASTM D 1505, pentene-1-derived structural units of 1-25wt.% and a ratio (RS) of the expression (MFR is the melt flow rate of the copolymer; d is the density of the copolymer) between the impact strength of a 40mum thick cast film prepared by casting the copolymer and the tear strength of the film in the drawing direction.
