PURPOSE:To obtain the composition having a high air cleaning effect by allowing the reaction product of >=1 kind of metal selected from Fe, Mn, Cr, Ni, etc., and tannic acid and/or gallic acid to coexist with the unreacted metals. CONSTITUTION:When a metal is allowed to coexist with the reaction product of metal and acid, the metal is dipped in a 0.01-5 molal aq. acidic soln. and then taken out, or the aq. soln. is sprayed on the metal and dried to obtain the air cleanable composition. The reaction product of one or >=2 kinds of metals selected from Fe, Mn. Cr, Ni, Zn, Al and Cu and tannic acid and/or gallic acid are coexistent with the unreacted metals in the obtained composition. In the composition, 0.005-0.5 mols of the acid is appropriately used with one gram atom of the metal. |
