PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by clogging of nozzles from occurring to ink-jetting without allowing small alien substances passing through filters to make cohesion by a method wherein inner wall surfaces of the nozzles in a recording head are constructed of fluororesin layers, and a pressurized supply means, capable of being selected as a means to supply the ink under pressure to the above-mentioned nozzles, is provided. CONSTITUTION:An inner wall surface 39 of a nozzle wall 31 of a nozzle 36 in a recording head 1 is constructed of a fluororesin layer so that alien substances 26a, 26b, 26c passing through filters 20a, 20b are hard to stuck thereto. A gear pump 5, a means for supply of ink under pressure, that is capable of supplying the ink in a mode strong enough for obtaining sufficient pressure for discharge of the ink through all of the nozzles provided in the recording head 1, is driven to apply the pressure to the ink in the nozzles 36 in the direction indicated with an arrow mark P1. Thereby alien substances 26a, 26b, 26c brought into the nozzles 36 are pushed in the direction indicated with an arrow mark A, allowing the alien substances to be easily discharged to the outside of a discharge port 27 of the recording head 1. |
