A connector (3) connects two profiles (1, 2), situated at right-angles to one another and having C-shaped prolongations, to one another. The profiles (1, 2) have two profile legs (11) and each two of the profile legs have inwardly projecting webs (12, 13). The connector (3) consists of two angular plates (4), two wedge rails (5), four screws (6) and associated parallelogram nuts (7). The plates (4) each have two grooves (22) which positively receive the webs (13) and on the opposite sides wedge faces (28). The nuts (7) engage behind the webs (12). With the wedge rails (5) clamped against the nuts (7) by means of the screws (6), the plates (4) are spread. A high bending and tensile strength of the connection is achieved by this construction. …<IMAGE>… |
