PURPOSE:To reduce load on a heat exchanger by a method wherein a heat pipe one end of which is inserted as a vaporizer and the other of which is cooled as a condenser by a sprinkling spray is provided between an air supplying fan and the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Outdoor air of, for example, 35 deg.C which is sent under pressure from a fan 1 and contains compression heat of the fan 1 to be of, for example, 53 deg.C comes first into contact with a vaporizing part 10 of a heat pipe 9 inserted into a middle cooling room 4. The air cooled down to about 35 to 42 deg.C by vaporization latent heat is further cooled by a cool water coil of a cool water heat exchanger 5. The air thus cooled to a target temperature (for example, 7 to 10 deg.C) is supplied out of a blow-off port 8. On the other hand, operation liquid vaporizing in the vaporizing part 10 of the heat pipe 9 ascends inside and reaches a condensing part 11 which is arranged upward and horizontally. The air is cooled with water sprinkled by a sprinkling spray 14 at the condensing part 11 and condensed, and then flows down along the heat pipe 9, assembles in the vaporizing part 10 and again heated and vaporized. Thereafter this series of operation is repeated. |
