NOVEL HEXAPEPTIDE, ITS INTERMEDIATE, THEIR PRODUCTION AND ANTIALLERGIC AGENT, VASODILATOR OR IMMNOREGULATOR

NEW MATERIAL:A hexapeptide (salt) of the formula (Ala is L-alanine residue; Ser is L-serine residue; Asp is L-aspartic acid residue; Gly is glycine residue; Lys is L-lysine residue). USE:An antiallergic agent, vasodilator, immunoregulator. PREPARATION:For example, a dehydrating condensation is carried out between (A) a glycine derivative of formula Boc-Gly-OH (Boc is t-butyloxycarbonyl) and (B) a L-lysine derivative of formula H-Lys(Z)-OBzl (Z is benzyloxycarbonyl; Bzl is benzyl) followed by eliminating the Boc group with an acid. The protected amino acids are successively condensed following the amino acid sequence of the peptide followed by eliminating the protective groups for the amino groups. This operation is repeated to synthesize a protected hexapeptide, followed by catalytic reduction to effect elimination of the whole protective group for the side chain, thus giving the objective hexapeptide of the formula.
