The present invention relates to a double damping flywheel including two coaxial masses (1, 10) mounted so that they can rotate with respect to each other counter to circumferentially-acting elastic means (20, 22) and of a viscous damping arrangement (60) comprising a leaktight cavity (50), in which the viscous arrangement (60) comprises first teeth (54) pointing radially towards the axis of the assembly, or being associated with an outer carrier element (51) and, alternating with the said first teeth, second teeth (55) pointing radially in the opposite direction from the axis of the assembly and being associated with an inner carrier element (8). According to the invention, the double flywheel is characterised in that the first teeth (54), associated with the outer carrier element (51) are made up by means of radially projecting deformations obtained by stamping a metal ring (153) inserted axially between the two covers (51, 52). Application: motor vehicles.
