<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption and to facilitate the integration by provid ing a voltage dividing circuit consisting of a first photoconductor and a second photoconductor, and an inverter circuit for inputting a voltage divided by this voltage dividing circuit, and a picture element electrode to which an output voltage of this inverter circuit is applied, on a liquid crystal driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal driving circuit is provided with a voltage dividing circuit consisting of a first and second photoconductors A101, B102, an inverter circuit for inputting a voltage divided by this voltage dividing circuit, and a picture element electrode to which an output voltage of this inverter circuit is applied. That is, as for a liquid crystal light valve, each picture element is structured so that the polarity of a voltage applied to a liquid crystal is varied in accordance with intensity of an input optical signal A 109 and an input optical signal B 110. Accordingly, an output optical signal for showing a large/small relation of the optical signal A and the optical signal B is obtained as an output signal 111 of bright/dark of a read-out light supplied from the outside. In such a way, each picture element having a light intensity compar ing function is subjected to high integration, and power consumption per one unit element can be reduced.</p> |
