Rapid filter for liq. and gases - allowing filter cake emptying without opening filter

A rapid filter for gaseous and liq. materials consists of a pressure-tight cylindrical hollow body contg. vertically stacked, radial, concentric, horizontal filter discs with central chambers for the filter medium in which the filter cake remains until emptying. The filter elements are in the form of annular discs which are stacked and clamped by a pressure-tight lid so that the elements can only vibrate at their innermost edge. A drop tube with side openings is provided to prevent eddy currents and flow interruptions. USE/ADVANTAGE - Rapid filtering is achieved and the filter cake can be rapidly discharged without opening the filter.
