The arrangement for entering liquid specimens into a carrier liquid flow contains a specimen loop (54) of defined vol. and a valve (10) switchable between two positions in which the specimen loop is connected to the carrier liquid line (40,34) and a specimen liquid line (36,26) respectively. A second specimen loop can be switched into the specimen liquid line with the valve in its first position and into the carrier liquid line in its second position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp for flow injection analysis. Two different vol. can be injected and higher analysis frequencies can be used than with conventional arrangements.
