PURPOSE:To sharply improve the durability of toner and to stably form images with high image density over many times by melting and kneading a toner raw material, producing a kneaded material so that the mean value of wax domain volume is 5 to 20mum<3> and grinding the kneaded material to obtain the toner. CONSTITUTION:In the kneaded material obtained by melting and kneading the toner raw material, the mean value of wax domain volume should be 5 to 20mum<3>. When the mean value of the wax domain volume is included within the range, the improving effect of fixing characteristics based upon wax is sufficiently exhibited, and developing property can be prevented from being lowered by physical adhesion due to wax. Consequently, toner with excellent durability can be obtained and images with high image density can be stably formed over many times without generating offset and winding phenomena. |
