The blind rivet comprises a tubular rivet sleeve with a head which is adjoined by a threaded section. An adhesive such as an adhesive foil is applied to the contact bearing face of the head (9) and/or to the outside of the rivet sleeve (7) at least in sections. The adhesive foil can be adhesive on both sides and is preferably covered by a protective paper. The foil can form a circular ring for fitting on the contact face of the head (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - The blind rivet cannot turn when loosening the fastening elements fixed on the threaded section.
