A magazine system is used for the storage of a large number of recording, e.g. compact discs. The unit has a number of modules (3) which contain a stack of discs (4) accessed when a flip top lid (20) is opened. These lids are hinged (23) for convenience. - The individual modules can be located within a disc player and can contain a specific type of recording, e.g. classical. On top of each unit at a module (6) is provided contg. protective sleeves of plastics material.
