PURPOSE:To prevent influence of line pressure and the like by installing a mechanical modulator mechanism to a speed change ratio control valve in the oil pressure control system of a continuously variable transmission so as to modulate a speed change line mechanically by the relation between accelerator opening and a speed change ratio. CONSTITUTION:In a speed change ratio control valve 100 for performing speed change control in the oil pressure control system of a continuously variable transmission 4, a rod 108 is pushed in together with the slider 121 of a modulator mechanism 120 by the turning movement of a shift cam 110. At this time, a modulator cam 123 is changed in its fulcrum position according to the accelerator opening, and the rod 108 is placed in the singly pushed-in state. At the time of upshift, the modulator cam 123 is oscillated interlockingly with an arm 124, and the rod 108 is singly pushed in from the lower speed stage side as the accelerator opening is larger and controlled in such a way as to obtain a speed change characteristic modulated to increase the speed of an engine 1 gradually. A speed change characteristic modulator can be thus placed in the optimum state without being influenced by line pressure control and the like. |
