PURPOSE:To obtain a staple fiber web-like nonwoven fabric without passing through a blending process and an opening process by disposing barb needles and cutting needles in a needle punching section for a continuous filament web. CONSTITUTION:Barb needles and cutting needles are disposed in a needle punching section 3 for a continuous filament web 5 fed through a spinning section 1 and a carrying section 2, and the filaments are mainly cut with the cutting needles and mainly interlaced with the barb needles. The nonwoven fabric having the same physical properties and touch as conventional staple fiber nonwoven fabric can be obtained from the continuous filament web.
