PURPOSE: To enhance the analyzing power and the sensitivity by forming a bimolecular membrane of GBLM structure, hybrid controllable through a chemical sensor, on an insulation membrane formed on a channel region. CONSTITUTION: A bimolecular membrane is stabilized with strong bonding power between a membrane 10 and a solid phase and the amphiphilic molecules in the membrane 10 are oriented by the polarity and the hydrophobic reaction to be equilibrium with a solution reservoir 9. Potential variation on the interface between the bimolecular membrane 10 and an electrolyte 7 causes variation in the conductivity of a channel region 4 and the current flowing between the source and drain regions 2, 3 of a solid semiconductor substrate 1. The latter functions as a part of an integrated circuit for recording the statistic amount of potential of significant signals or the current measurement and storing and/or processing the measured signal. According to the structure, analyzing power is enhanced in the recording of different substance and sensitivity is enhanced in the recording of trace element. |
