PURPOSE:To obtain a solid composition useful as an anti-heat stress agent for domestic animals and domestic fowls, extremely preventing evolution of gas, change of color and caking, comprising an organic acid, a carbonate and dextrin. CONSTITUTION:A solid composition comprising (A) >=10wt.%, preferably 10-60wt.% organic acid, preferably ascorbic acid or citric acid (anhydride), (B) >=5wt.%, preferably 5-30wt.% carbonate, preferably sodium carbonate, (C) 5-30wt.% dextrin and optionally (D) 20-55wt.% substance capable of releasing potassium ion in an aqueous solution, preferably potassium chloride. The composition is usable for preventing death by heat of domestic animals and domestic fowls in summer at high temperature, for maintaining health of domestic animals and domestic fowls in summer and for improvement in productivity and is also useful for increasing an amount of water drunk in administration of antimicrobial agent with drinking water and for absorption promotion. |
