PURPOSE:To switch to the optimum acoustic mode automatically by switching the acoustic mode of reproduced sound to a prescribed acoustic mode when the number of no-signal states in a signal source is measured and a measured value is over a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A silence state measurement device 6 is provided to measure the number of the no-signal state (a silence state) in an output signal from a signal source 2 is measured, and to switch a sound field creation mode to the prescribed mode corresponding to the result of the measurement. When the number of the silence states in a prescribed period is over the prescribed value, the acoustic mode of a sound field creation device 3 is switched to a news mode automatically. Thus, the influence of a sense of incompatibility to a crew can be prevented when the news is on the air while selecting the sound field creation mode for music and listening to the music. |
