Dirigible with a skeleton consisting of triangular ribs and of longerons, with a nacelle (G) and motor(s) (T). The ribs dividing the skeleton into longitudinal sectors (A) consist of three crosspieces (S11, S12, S13) forming an isoceles triangle, the angles of which constitute nodes for assembling the longerons (L1, L2, L3). The horizontal base of the triangles forms the base of the skeleton. In each sector (A), two crosspieces and two respective longerons delimit rectangular faces, in which tie bars (D) are mounted on the diagonal, thereby enhancing the rigidity of the armature. Each sector (A) contains a lifting gas cell, the envelope of which overlaps the crosspieces and the longerons, and constitutes the outer envelope of the dirigible. Application especially to dirigibles intended for freight transport. <IMAGE>
