The main piece of the electric contactor is mounted in a stationary manner. It has an inserting aperture (4) for a contact pin, and several outwardly acting contact springs, protruding into the aperture, for contacting the inserted pin. Each contact spring (7, 8) is fitted to a free end of a spring arm (5, 6). The arm other end is coupled to the base plate (1) and extends along the inserting aperture. Pref. there are two spring arms, each extending over a section exceeding 90 deg. along the inserting aperture. The latter may be round so that the spring arms are curved. If the aperture is rectangular, the arms are angular. USE/ADVANTAGE - Measuring appts. mounted on p.c.b. No relative movement between contact pin and contact springs.
