In the ladder side rail area and on the rungs or steps is inserted a holder arrangement which also locates against the side rail wall. The arrangement incorporates a side rail locator (9) for an equipment holder or warning plate. Also involved is a group of three pin accommodation units (11-13), and where a runged ladder is involved an attachment (10) is provided. For a step ladder, a further appropriate attachment can be incorporated, and the three pin accommodation units are built into the ladder at the time of its mfr. The warning plate used has symbols on both sides, and incorporates on one side two quadratically formed insert pins. USE - To accommodate warning plates and equipment holders on the sides of ladders.
