Grid capable of being employed in a fuel assembly for a pressurised water reactor, comprising a belt of hexagonal form and three sets of small plates fastened to the belt, the small plates of each set being parallel to each other and forming an angle of 120 DEG with the small plates of the other two sets. All the small plates (44, 46 or 48) of the same set have the same length, are folded at 120 DEG in their middle and are parallel to two successive faces of the belt.
