PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition as a health food, etc., containing gamma-linolenic acid, etc., and specific compounds such as sesamin and curcumin in a stable state. CONSTITUTION:(A) A gamma-linolenic acid or a derivative of said acid is mixed with (B) at least a substance selected from (B) a compound (e.g. anisole) expressed by formula I (R<1> is lower alkyl; R<2> is OH or alkylalkoxy, etc.; (n) is 0-5), sesamin (may be sesame oil itself) and curcumin expressed by formula II or the derivative (R<3> is same as R<1>; R<4> is same as R<3>) to afford the objective composition. For instance, mixing ratios of said components as a health food are preferably 1/100 to 4/10 the component A and 1/1000000 to 2/10 the component B (to usual components). |
