PURPOSE:To obtain the subject food having a function to suppress uric acid level in blood, free from undesirable influence on the average weight increase and the state of feces and capable of lowering the uric acid level in blood by using inulins as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective food contains inulins (a polysaccharide composed of beta-D-fructose bonded through beta-1,2 bond and existing in a food such as burdock root and chicory). The amount of inulins to be administered is preferably 1-50g per day. |
